Heidi Barrett grew up in a winemaking family and was destined to become one of California's leading winemakers. With a scientist-winemaker father and an artist mother it’s no surprise that Heidi was drawn to the wine industry. Heidi blends the art and science of winemaking like few can.
Since 1988 she has developed an impressive client list of ultra-premium wineries. In addition to her own wines from La Sirena, she is currently the winemaker for Amuse Bouche, Paradigm, Lamborn, Kenzo Estate, Au Sommet, Vin Perdu, and Fantesca. Past winemaking clients include Screaming Eagle, Dalla Valle, Jones Family, Grace Family, Vineyard 29, David Arthur, Barbour Vineyards, and Showket.

About 2006 La Sirena Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaker notes:
"Announcing the much anticipated 2006 La Sirena Cabernet Sauvignon! A wonderful follow-up to our highly regarded 2005 vintage. This wine continues to display the elegance, balance, and beautiful opulence expected from La Sirena. Cabernet is what I am best known for (and my favorite wine to make)". 
Heidi Barrett's tasting notes
he 2006 Cab. Sauv. is dark ruby in color with aromas of black cherries, cola, cedar and spice, quite layered and complex. This wine has an extremely silky, velvety mouthfeel and flavors of black cherry, berry, and cassis. Hints of sweet toasty French oak add to the overall deliciousness of the wine. Wonderful purity and balance. The flavors and finish persist for several minutes. A beautiful wine that simply flows across the palate.

About 2015 Amuse Bouche Bordeaux-Style Red Napa Valley:
We commissioned culinary legend, author and artist extraordinaire Jacques Pepin to design our label for this vintage. His piece entitled Le Pique-Nique combines three of life's greatest pleasures wine, food and art. Jacques is a world-renowned chef whose work in the culinary world spans more than six decades. His most recent awards include the inaugural Julia Child Award and the American Public Television's Lifetime Achievement Award. He has written 28 cookbooks and if that isn't enough he also just so happens to be graceful with a paintbrush.

About ​Prêt à Boire 
Dear Pink Dog Lovers: Prêt à Boire remains the only Napa Valley Rosé that garners 90+ ratings by Wine Spectator and Antonio Galloni/Vinous. This Southern French-style blend is composed of 63% Grenache and 37% Syrah from our high-altitude vineyards in the eastern Rutherford hills of Napa Valley. It is bone dry, crisp with mouthwatering acidity, exuding flavors of crushed fraises des bois, watermelon rind, and white peach.  We have produced only a few dozen 3.0 Liter double magnums- each large format is hand-etched and painted with George Rodrigue’s Pink Dog (including the dog’s back side)
