The Napa Valley Reserve 2009 Notes
Deep, dark red in appearance. Cherry, red currant, dark plum, sage, smoke and graphite emerging out of the glass. Full and fleshy entry immediately followed by layers of ripe fruit, dark cocoa, truffle and well-integrated oak. A hedonistic wine at this stage, dense, full bodied with a long finish lead by big, chewy tannins. Pleasing and tempting at this young age, the 2009 will continue to evolve and provide long lasting enjoyment. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2034. Decant 6+ hours if drinking now.

Founded by H. William Harlan, The Napa Valley Reserve was designed to allow members the opportunity to experience all the benefits of viticulture, winemaking and hospitality in the world’s finest winemaking traditions. The Napa Valley Reserve wines are produced by the Harlan Estate Winemaking team.
