Winemaker Philippe Melka has had a hand in some of the most iconic wines in the world. He grew up in Bordeaux and attend University of Bordeaux. His first job was at Haut Brion. He had a stint at Petrus and then went to work for Christian Moueix -- and sent to intern at Dominus estate in Napa. Since then, and after falling in love with California (and Cherie) he has made Seavey, Lail, Skipstone, Tusk, Fairchild, Vineyard 29, Dana, Moon Tsai, Nine Sons, Davis and many more. He's also a killer surfer and has 2 IMDB credits.
