Winemaker Thomas River Brown is an iconic American success story and is on the cover of Wine Spectator right now. Thomas was born in South Carolina and found his way to wine through a friend's father. His first job in Napa was at the famed All Seasons wine shop in Calistoga, and his first wine making job was under Ehren Jordan at Turley. He oversees production at over 40 wineries including Pulido Walker, Mending Wall, Gemstone, Seaver and Maybach.
