A rhino horn is a compacted mass of hairs that continues to grow throughout the animal's lifetime, just like our own hair and nails. Calves are born without horns, but within just a couple of months a tiny stub appears

Grammy nominated photographer/director Kristian Schmidt has shot subjects spanning from fashion to wildlife, Kristian has developed a unique style that focuses on the use of dramatic juxtaposition and opposites to create stunning and enigmatic images.
