Welcome to Reach the World's 2019 Annual Benefit

Reach the World will hold its 2019 Annual Benefit on April 3, 2019 at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park. At the event, RTW will honor Soledad O'Brien with the 2019 Cronkite Award for Excellence in Storytelling and Exploration. Please visit for more information.

In its 21st year of operations, Reach the World is a leader in using virtual exchange to inspire youth, young adults and corporate volunteers to become curious, confident and compassionate global citizens. By connecting volunteer travelers to K-12 classrooms to share online, global journeys, RTW’s virtual exchange programs vastly expand the number and diversity of youth who have access to profound cross-cultural experiences as part of their education.

Reach the World's key partners include The Explorers Club, the Institute of International Education, the Fulbright Program, the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program, Dartmouth College, Princeton in Asia, the MENAR Fellowship, Birmingham-Southern College, Teach For America and other institutions devoted to cross-cultural exchange.

Proceeds from the Annual Benefit will support Reach the World's growth to serve educators nationwide, ensuring that all youth, in all communities, have the opportunity to connect to positive global role models and to the power of global knowledge.
