The signed poster is of a painting done by the artist from Libby Hill, looking southeast. That iconic curve of the river has come to represent Richmond, just as it inspired the city's name because of a similar curve in the Thames River at Richmond-on-Thames, now a borough of London. As the first place winner, it was printed by Richmond Magazine as a fundraiser for Historic Richmond Foundation.
