The evening features dinner, live and silent auctions, award presentation, live entertainment, local sports celebrities and public figures, and Magee Wheelchair Sports athletes.
Proceeds benefit Magee's community and patient programs such as Art Therapy, Horticultural Therapy, Music Therapy, Patient Resource Center, Recreational Therapy, facility dog program, Gaspar Center, Peer Mentor Program, Think First and wheelchair sports teams of rugby, basketball, tennis, and racing.
The 2019 Champion in the Community Award and the 2019 BELIEVE Award will be presented.
Tony Degliomini was a Magee patient in the summer of 2015 after suffering a spinal cord injury. Tony started his fundraising efforts for Magee in 2016, when he and his company, Holman Enterprises, supported Magee’s wheelchair sports program through the Philadelphia marathon. Tony has also supported Magee by encouraging his network to volunteer at various wheelchair sports events. Tony has recently published a book titled “Believe,” which describes his injury and his rehabilitation journey.

Fisher Family Foundation
Steven Fisher and Carol Rosenthal continue the family tradition of philanthropy through their leadership of the Fisher Family Foundation. Their generous support has enabled Magee to start a 3D-Printer Program and provides Assistive Technology equipment to open new worlds for our patients.
