A $100 worth (about 8 pounds) of grass-fed ground lamb straight from Copper Beech Farm, the Neff’s Davidson County Farm. These are Katahdin Sheep, known for their mild flavor and as grass fed animals. Lamb is also known to have low levels of pro-inflammatory omega-6 fats!
Copper Beech Farm is owned by Linden parents Eric and Amy Neff. Both are passionate about local food, animal welfare, ecology, and sustainable agriculture. Amy serves on the boards of A Greener World's Certified Non-GMO by AGW as well as the Independent Small Animal Meat Processing Association.
Amy owned a butcher shop specializing in high animal welfare meats and has taught cooking classes to medical students. Being outdoors, riding horses, bicycling, being a mom to 3 daughters, and being part of the Bell's Bend community are a few of her favorite things.
