Two people will experience a day of golf and Philadelphia history at The Union League Golf Club at Torresdale. Enjoy a 30-minute lesson with Sean Palmer, Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional, followed by 9 holes and lunch with Vivian (4th grade) and her dad, David. The beautiful and challenging course was designed by Donald Ross in 1921 and completely renovated in 2015 when The Union League purchased the historic club. The Golf Club is located in the northeast corner of Philadelphia, 12 miles from The Union League in Center City. The Union League was founded in 1862 as a patriotic society to support the Union and the policies of President Abraham Lincoln.
