Silent Auction
Silent Auction items will be available for bidding online starting on April 20, 2018. The Silent Auction opens at 6:00 PM on April 26, 2018, and will close at approximately 9:15 PM on Thursday, April 26, 2018. As you check in to the Benefit on Thursday, April 26, 2018, volunteers will help you register your smartphone and your credit card of choice with 501 Auctions. If you are not able to attend the benefit you will be notified by text message when you are outbid and given a 10-minute warning prior to the auction closing. Each winner’s registered credit card will be charged after the conclusion of the auction. At the end of the evening, please visit the auction fulfillment table. Once you have paid for your items, the cashier will present you with a receipt of your winning lots as well as your actual items. If you are not in the room to redeem your items, you will be contacted Friday to finalize payment and how best to deliver the item. The Gateway School, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, volunteers and committee members assume no responsibility for the quality or utility of the auction items or for any items left at the Mandarin Oriental, New York. Please note that items cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Unless otherwise specified:
• All auction items are to be used within one year
• Dates and times are to be arranged at the mutual convenience of the donor and buyer
• Restaurant and other food certificates and offers do not include alcohol, tax or gratuity
• All sales are final, purchasers may not request an exchange or refund from the donor
General Rules
The Gateway School (its officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, and committee members) does not assume any risk or responsibility for the authenticity, quality or value of items. Moreover, The Gateway School assumes no liability for any loss or damage caused by any person traveling or vacationing on any of the offered trips. Estimate of retail values and descriptions of items have been made based on information provided by donors and deemed reliable. All items are sold “as is” and are subject to the conditions and restrictions stipulated by the donors. 
By participating in this auction, each bidder recognizes that neither The Gateway School nor anyone who assists in the conduction of the auction shall be liable for any occurrence resulting from the use of the auctioned items and/or services sold. The Gateway School reserves the right to withdraw any item at any time before the actual sale. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, which is over and above the market value of the item.
