One bottle of 2014 Stag's Leap Estates Block 716 Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.  Stag's Leap is one of Napa Valley's most prominent sub-appellations because of its unique red volcanic soil, which gives the wines a much more distinct flavor and intensity.  The Stag's Leap District is known worldwide for its Cabernet Sauvignon which are critically acclaimed for their power and grace, lush fruit and soft tannins with complex layers of flavor.

One magnum of 2015 Long Shadows Julia's Dazzle Rosé.  This wine is 99% Pinot Gris and 1% Sangiovese.  The palate has gala apple, red raspberry, guava and just-picked strawberries, with a light cream finish alongside a lovely minerality.  Drink 2016-2021.

One bottle of Bergstrom Croft Vineyard 2014 Pinot Noir.  This wine is medium body with loads of red berry flavor, nicely tamed by some earthy/herbal notes from the stems.  It is framed by chewy tannins and lively acid, finishing long.  Average critics score of 92.  Drink now through 2020.

One bottle of Silver Oak 2013 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.  This wine is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Malbec.  The palate is juicy, full, aromatic and ripe, but there's structure to hold the delicious fruit, framing it with firm tannins and wonderful perfume.  With proper cellaring, can be enjoyed through 2036.  Average critics score of 94.

Two bottles Spottswoode 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon, Family Estate Grown.  This Cab is 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc.  Subtle aromas of red currant, black cherry and plum carry over to the palate.  Excellent balance, depth, complexity and length.  The finish is long and persistent, keeping the emphasis on the fruit.  This is a classic Napa Cabernet, elegant and a great food wine.  Drink for the next 10 years.  Average critics score of 94.
