St. George is the patron saint of the Armor and Cavalry Division of the U.S. Army. This division maintains a robust museum gallery located within the Infantry Museum at Fort Benning, Georgia. The original of this piece is a commission for that Gallery.

I created the gnarly dragon from direct wax, then had it cast along with the horse and rider.
