Bottle of George Washington’s Peach Brandy Eau de Vie, from our First President's Mount Vernon Estate.
Washington made a few bottles of this spirit in 1798 & 1799, using peaches grown on his estate. A few bottles were sold. Most of it was moved to the Mansion for use by the Washington family. A limited number of bottles of this special Brandy were made in the past few years. They were crafted using Washington's original recipe, within his estate distillery, using equipment & methods from 1798-1799. The process is very labor intensive.
The only way to buy a bottle of this special brew is to visit the Mt. Vernon Estate, following the time of production. Since only a limited amount is made, it sells out quickly. The Estate does not ship this product.
