Curious about art? Tired of shallow and secular explanations of the art you love?
Miss Lydia Eby, veteran faculty at Chesterton Academy and Art History Master’s student at the University of St. Thomas, offers a guided tour of the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
A visit to a museum is often overwhelming as there are so many things to look at all piled on top of each other and not always a convenient place to stop if you want to take the time to look at a work. As a Catholic, it can be even more frustrating as labels and informational displays neglect or even mock theological meanings or the intended use and context of a work of art.
Miss Eby is excited to lead a tour of the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA) tailored for Chesterton Gala attendees. Delight your eyes and your soul with a story of art that is intimately tied to the truth of Christ and His Church.
Saturday, March 30, 2019. 11 a.m. (time subject to change)
Attendance is limited to 25 people.
