We are “Celebrating Change”! This event will include a formal sit-down dinner, drinks, and live entertainment - a night to celebrate over fifty five years of astonishing life-saving work and look forward to the future. There is incredible power when a community reflects on the past, embraces the present and plans for the future.
Join The People Concern in “Celebrating Change” !
As one of Los Angeles County’s largest social services agencies, The People Concern is a leading provider of, and advocate for, evidence-based solutions to the multi-faceted challenges inherent in homelessness and domestic violence. Our model of integrated and comprehensive care empowers the most vulnerable among us to rebuild their lives.
All proceeds from Celebrating Change will go directly towards helping homeless individuals by providing services such as - but not limited to - mental health care, housing services, domestic violence services, life skills/wellness program, income assistance, medical care, and outreach.
- In 2016, The People Concern was the sole service provider to the Pacific Palisades homeless community. There, we decreased homelessness by 50%. Everywhere else in Los Angeles, homelessness increased.
- We are currently providing wraparound services to 1,184 formerly homeless people in Los Angeles to retain permanent supportive housing for good.
- 98% of those who we support with wraparound retention services will never be homeless again.
- We saved the County $2.6 million in public health funds in just 24 months with our recuperative care program.
We look forward to seeing you there!
