Black Tie Gala & Silent Auction

"Bridge the Gap"

Friday, November 18, 2016 - 6:00 p.m

San Jose McEnery Convention Center

Hunger at Home is holding a spectacular Black-Tie Gala event titled "Bridge the Gap", that will take place on November 18, 2016, hosted by Team San Jose. The fall gala will be held in the heart of downtown San Jose at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. Hunger at Home has invited select local charities, Martha’s Kitchen, The Salvation Army and Bill Wilson Center, to participate and receive a portion of proceeds raised from this fundraiser for their dedication to alleviate the hunger and homeless crisis in our community.  Proceeds raised from the gala  will benefit Hunger at Home, and will also assist our selected charity partners by providing needed funds for additional program services and equipment to better serve the community.
About the Gala

This year’s guests will experience red carpet treatment, receive a complimentary color photo, enjoy cuisine sure to delight even the most discerning palate, starting with hors d’oeuvres and wine pairings, a reception to follow with an elegant formal plated dinner and dessert extravaganza. A silent auction will be conducted during the reception and guests will be able to bid on silent auction items using their mobile phones. A sneak peak at the Live Auction, held immediately following dinner, includes cars, two cruises (anywhere Holland America travels) and trips to beautiful destinations around the world. That's not all....put on your dancing shoes! Following the live auction there will be dancing with live music by local artist, Greg Kihn, and "The Greg Kihn Band".
