A framed Apollo 17 crew signed Anniversary Cover (not flown), Apollo 17 mission patch and astronaut photo taken on the lunar surface. 

The envelope is white with a printed Apollo 17 mission emblem. It carries the post mark: Kennedy Space Center 32815 and is dated: December 14, 1992 (the 20th Anniversary of lunar departure date). It has American flag stamp (canceled). Printed at bottom of the envelope: "Official Commemorative Cover". Printed at top of envelope: "NASA Manned Spacecraft Center Stamp Club". 
 
This First Day Cover has been framed along with an Apollo 17 mission patch (4.5 inches) and 2. Color photo of Harrison Schmitt on the Moon with the American Flag in foreground and the Earth at top of photo.
 
Apollo 17 flew in 1972, the three crew members were Commander Eugene Cernan, Command Module Pilot Ronald Evans, and Lunar Module Pilot Harrison ‘Jack’ Schmitt.  It was the last use of Apollo hardware for its original purpose; after Apollo 17, extra Apollo spacecraft were used in the Skylab and Apollo-Soyuz programs. 

Item generously donated by Harrison Schmitt, the last person to step on to the moon. (1972.)
