If you can’t go to space yourself, here’s the next best thing!  Bid for an action-packed 24 hours in Lapland* –  your private tour guide for the day will British former marine Theo Turner whose company Wild About Lapland arranges arctic tours.

Although weather dependent (of course) – the main goal is to see the aurora for yourself but with plenty of other Finnish activities to make sure you have a spectacular adventure.

As well as seeing the aurora, you will go snow shoeing, ice fishing and on thrilling reindeer and husky rides! Not least for maximum chances of seeing the aurora, this auction lot is agreed for specific dates in January 2019.

2 nights accommodation at the stunning Arctic TreeHouse Hotel is included in this lot.  http://arctictreehousehotel.com

The proposed itinerary:
Friday January 25, 2019 – fly to Rovaniemi in Finland, includes airport transfer to hotel.
Saturday January 26, 2019 – Morning reindeer ride at a traditional reindeer farm. Afternoon of snowshoeing and ice fishing.
Sunday January 27, 2019 – spend the day as a husky musher. Learn how to drive and become a musher** at the nearby husky farm.

The aurora tour could take place on either night and is weather dependent. This will be confirmed the night you arrive.

This is $4,000 worth of holiday.

If you wish to stay longer, there are plenty of things to see in the surrounding area such as the Santa Clause village. Wild About Lapland, our generous donor, will be happy to help plan a prolonged itinerary. http://wildaboutlapland.com

Sieriporo Safaris have donated the reindeer ride and Shaman Huskies the husky ride (http://www.shamanhuskies.com/shaman-huskies).
