What is this event for?
The Alpine B/C Fundraising Event is hosted by Yama Sushi in support of the future champions that are on the B/C Alpine Teams. This fundraiser was initiated when the B/C Team Athletes became required to bear a portion of their individual travel cost. As athletes who are committing their lives to becoming the best ski racers in the World, they need your help.
How can I donate?
There is an online portal through this website, on the 'Donate Now' tab, to donate if you are unable to attend the event at Yama Sushi on November, 13th. The online website giving in conjunction with the event at Yama Sushi will provide the two opportunities to show your support.
How does this event benefit the athletes?
The goal of the event is to raise monies that will directly cover the “alpine gap”. The money raised will cover B Team athletes first, then the remainder will be equally distributed among C Team athletes.
What is the fundraising goal for this event?
The overall goal for this event is to raise $150,000 for the athletes on the B and C Alpine Teams to support their world travels, as well as their training.
