An artist whose work spans painting, installation, video, public art, and multiples, Leeza Meksin draws from abstraction and architecture to highlight binary systems: male/female, hard/soft, or public/private. Her works also consider the parallels between the conventions of painting, architecture and our bodies. Meksin has exhibited in numerous galleries in Brooklyn and Manhattan and at BRIC, in 2015 Hand Made Abstract
exhibition. She has an MFA from Yale School of Art and teaches at Columbia University.
